This is a fantastic career opportunity for a people-focused lean / continuous improvement practitioner.  We welcome applications from six sigma black belt certified candidates possessing experience gained from any demanding manufacturing or engineering sector.

We are recruiting for a division of a well-established global leader, with 100+ manufacturing sites across the world.  You will receive significant support, training and benefit from Main Board sponsorship; there is genuine visible ‘buy-in’ to develop a CI driven culture.

You will identify, lead, train and monitor manufacturing focussed lean and six sigma initiatives and projects across the division’s six sites in Northern European (two of which are in the UK).  This is an opportunity for a highly driven and energetic, ‘hands-on’ Lean Manager and Coach.  To be considered it is essential that have Six Sigma Black Belt certification and demonstrate experience of delivering lean / continuous improvement (CI) projects and initiatives from within any fast moving, demanding manufacturing or engineering sector environment.  Experience of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) is also highly advantageous.  You will ideally be degree educated, demonstrate a progressive career and possess energy, excellent communication & influencing skills and engaging hands-on people skills, coupled with genuine passion for change and enrichment of the work place using lean / continuous improvement (CI) techniques.  Due to the nature of the appointment there is a need for flexibility and a willingness to travel and undertake other travel for meetings and training, typically working on Monday to Thursday.

Excellent opportunities for career progression are available.  Should you feel your skills and experience are well suited please apply online or for further information contact Dan Sculthorp, Director at ‘Opex Selection’.

Please get in touch should you be able to recommend someone for this job in complete confidence; we will pay you a bonus of £300 in retail vouchers (of your choice) on the day the referral starts employment.
