We are recruiting for the consultancy services division of a major global engineering pioneer, their client base spans an immense spectrum of engineering and manufacturing organisations. The job holder will receive significant support, training and Main Board sponsorship; there is genuine visible ‘buy-in’ to develop this division and a clear path for further short to medium term career progression. In addition, there is a desire to make job offers quickly; there is an urgent requirement and they are keen to not delay the recruitment programme.
This appointment has a UK wide remit and candidates and will be based on client sites across the UK and from our client’s most local office (of which there is a vast network) and home working as required. Therefore the candidate can be based anywhere across the UK.
This is a development opportunity, potentially suitable for an ambitious lean practitioner who is at present progressing their career rapidly and looking for a position with increased responsibility to accelerate their development and career.
The job holder will identify, lead, train and monitor lean and six sigma initiatives and projects across the client’s sites. This is an opportunity for a highly driven and energetic, ‘hands-on, technically competent lean manager and coach. There are outstanding future career opportunities. To be considered it is essential that have at least Six Sigma Black Belt training (certification ideally) and demonstrate experience of driving and training lean / continuous improvement (CI) initiatives from within any fast moving, demanding manufacturing or engineering sector environment. You will be degree educated (or higher), demonstrate a progressive career and possess energy, excellent communication & influencing skills and engaging hands-on people skills, coupled with genuine passion for change and enrichment of the work place using lean / continuous improvement (CI) techniques. Due to the nature of the appointment there is a need for flexibility and a willingness to travel and undertake other travel for meetings and training.
Please note that the salary advertised is dependent on experience. The package includes a car allowance and comprehensive benefits (a performance bonus is presently under review).
