Our client is an expanding high progressive innovative, fast moving engineering service provider, based near Witney, Oxfordshire. They require a Lean Manager / Business Improvement Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to lead a small team of Lean Practitioners (and Champions indirectly) and deliver business improvement projects.
Responsible for the Business Improvement Programme, this appointment will be highly facilitation / training / workshop focused. The Lean Manager will coach and mentor, regularly presenting updates to the Board and the Executive Team on the progress of the Programme.
Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract and, therefore, candidates will be available immediately or at the latest by the end of April 2016.
To be considered it is essential that candidates demonstrate experience of driving continuous improvement / lean initiatives within any demanding manufacturing, engineering or service sector. Candidates will be of graduate calibre (HNC minimum) and ideally have six sigma green belt certification (or above). The job holder will have experience of managing a team and an engaging hands-on style.
