Our client is a highly reputable electronics manufacturer known for quality excellence. Part of a larger European centric Group, their UK manufacturing / assembly operation (based just outside Lincoln) requires a Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager in a highly autonomous role, responsible for leading continuous improvement projects across every department of the UK business. Working closely with the senior management team and liaising with production, sales and R&D departments, the Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the factory continues to operate to the highest standard of quality performance.
The job holder will ensure that systems are continually improved and customer requirements are met to evolving standards. This key appointment has full Main Board support and sponsorship of the appointment and to drive an environment of continuous improvement.
The appointment will mainly concentrate on continuous improvement and therefore exposure to Quality Management is required (not in depth experience). To be considered it is essential that candidates demonstrate experience of driving continuous improvement / lean initiatives within a related manufacturing or assembly sector; electronics, electrical or high technology. Candidates will be of graduate calibre (HNC minimum) and ideally have six sigma green belt certification (or above). Most importantly you will have a track record of delivering major lean driven programmes and leading cultural, long-term sustainable change. You may still be developing your career, but will demonstrate a progression to date, coupled with excellent communication & influencing skills and an engaging hands-on style.
The salary package is highly dependent on experience and includes excellent benefits as well as a comprehensive relocation package (if applicable).
