Our client, a leading brand in the retail / leisure sector has in excess of 500 outlets across the UK and serves several million customers every month. They have created this key permanent appointment as part of their lean / continuous improvement / process improvement strategy across their entire UK network from their head office located in the North London / Hertfordshire border.
The Process Improvement Engineer will benefit from significant support and Main Board sponsorship. Still in the early stages of their lean / operational excellence journey, the job holder will be responsible for reviewing efficiency & optimisation process steps at outlets and leading improvement management activities. The job holder will work closely with Process Improvement team colleagues and retail Regional Managers to drive a sustainable continuous improvement programme.
We require a Change / Process Improvement expert who has worked for any large / blue chip organisations whether in manufacturing / engineering or the service sector. We require a candidate with world class lean / process improvement experience and therefore specific industry experience is not required. Candidates will more limited experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered alongside those with more experience.
Candidates will be of graduate calibre (engineering or manufacturing degrees are of particular interest) and will demonstrate a progressive career history. Candidates possessing six sigma certification is desirable, but not essential. Most importantly we require a ‘down-to-earth’ communicator demonstrating lean / process improvement facilitation and influencing skills.
The basic salary is dependent on experience and the package will include a bonus and excellent benefits.
