Lean Manufacturing Experts – China

Global, highly innovative consulting organisation seeks two Lean Consultants from a world class manufacturing background to manage small teams in the implementation of lean initiatives within their client base from their centre in China.

• 2 x Lean Manufacturing Consultant opportunities  
• 3 year contract
• Based in China (Gangdong Province)
• US$58,000 – US$72,000 (depending on experience / salary range highly competitive to local market) + Housing Allowance + Various Allowances & Incentives
• Relocation package including air fares, visa fees and support with visa application

The job holders will teach / mentor project team members on implementing lean systems and lean projects at client sites across Gangdong Province and across other parts of China and Asia. Travel will be required up to approximately 60%.  To be considered prior consulting experience is not required, it is however essential that candidates demonstrate experience of driving continuous improvement / lean initiatives / world class manufacturing within any demanding and fast moving manufacturing sector. Candidates will be degree educated and possess people management experience having lead and developed teams. Six sigma certification would be an advantage, but is not required. High energy, excellent communication & influencing skills and an engaging hands-on people management style is essential, coupled with genuine passion for change and enrichment of the work place utilising world class improvement techniques.
