  • Interim Contractor Assignment (Outside IR35) – Senior Process Specialist
  • Process Governance, Process Ownership and supporting the establishment of a ‘Centre of Excellence’ 
  • 6 Month Contract | Bucks HQ  (approx. 1 – 2 days per week) and working from home  

We seek a highly self-motivated senior Lean / Continuous Improvement professional to join one of the UK’s largest industrial service providers.  The organisation is a well-known name that has experienced significant acquisitional and organic growth, their plan includes significant investment in technology and to be a leader in green/sustainability. 

Joining an innovative team, you will benefit from Main Board level support for their Process Excellence Programme and will be integral in setting up their new ‘Centre of Excellence’.

The Interim Senior Process Specialist will contribute to the organisation’s strategic objectives and drive process excellence through establishing a network of relationships, providing business partnership to functional areas, bringing process expertise and innovation, and enabling functions to lead their own programmes of continuous improvement whilst being guided by best practice. You will be responsible for embedding metrics and measures, working with process owners to build a true view of process performance which then drives improvement.

Candidates from any sector are invited to apply, experience in any of the following sectors is of particular interest: utilities, construction, logistics, retail and foodservice.   

To be considered, candidates will be of graduate calibre, ideally possess six sigma black belt or equivalent lean certification and demonstrate a progressive career history of lean and continuous improvement.  We require a highly analytical skill set with strong experience of process governance and previous experience of being involved in establishing a ‘Centre of Excellence’ or similar function.  Experience in building senior-level internal and external relationships in dynamic organisations and in influencing cross-functional teams is required, as is a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality combined with ability to work strategically. 

Please note this interim contract is Outside IR35.  Opex Selection Limited will engage with your Limited Company or an Umbrella organisation (we can provide guidance for either option and aim for a smooth onboarding process typically completed within 2-3 days, leading to a quick start date).  Monthly invoicing (last Friday of the month), immediate payment by same-day transfer.
