Interim Contractor Assignment (Outside IR35) – Continuous Improvement / Process Mapping (Finance Function) | 6 Month Contract, 100% Remote Working.

We seek a highly self-motivated Lean / Continuous Improvement professional to join one of the UK’s largest service providers during this critical time. 

Initially, you will work on a six-month contract (potentially extendable or offered permanently).  Reporting to the Transformation Head, your remit will be to conduct extensive mapping of one of their finance function’s processes, incorporating liaison with key stakeholders.  This is a remote / working from home assignment.  

Please note this interim contract is Outside IR35.  Opex Selection Limited will engage with your Limited Company or an Umbrella organisation (we can provide guidance for either option and aim for a smooth onboarding process normally completed within 2-3 days, leading to a rapid start date).  The daily rate is £350 (dependant on experience) + Expenses.  Monthly invoicing (last Friday of the month), immediate payment by same-day transfer.   

Essential Requirements:   

  • Extensive experience in process mapping  
  • You will have a hands-on approach and be goal-orientated
  • Experience in writing standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Highly self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Available to start the contract within one week

Desirable Requirements:

  • Broader Lean / Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience in process mapping of finance processes
