Our client is a leading service provider serving a diverse and prestigious retail customer base across the UK and Europe. This is a newly created permanent position, joining a team of five other Operational Excellence Practitioners / Lean Project Managers and will report to the Head of Operational Excellence.
The Lean Project Manager will benefit from significant support and Main Board sponsorship and visible ‘buy-in’ to develop a Continuous Improvement driven culture. Still, in the early stages of their lean / operational excellence journey, the job holder will be responsible for key projects and full rollout, working closely with Stakeholders to deliver sustainable savings and benefits. You will be based at our client’s regional head office in Surrey (Woking area) four days per week, with one day per week remote working.
We require a Lean Project Manager highly familiar with DMAIC methodology who has been involved in change management projects and possessing strong interpersonal skills. We will consider candidates from any sector, however, experience in any service sector environment will be of particular interest. Most importantly we require a ‘down-to-earth’ engager of people who is passionate about driving continuous improvement through others.
This opportunity will appeal to candidates still developing their careers and more experienced candidates.
