As a European leader and part of a major group, our client is investing in their highly supported continuous improvement programme and seeks an addition Continuous Improvement Manager to join their UK & Ireland Continuous Improvement team. The job holder will work on a variety of exciting projects and initiatives in close conjunction with core operational teams, using expertise in lean manufacturing and / or six sigma to identify continuous improvement opportunities and then deliver structured projects to achieve measurable improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery (Process).
The Continuous Improvement Manager’s core remit will be as follows:
To be considered it is essential that candidates demonstrate experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager; driving continuous improvement / lean initiatives / world class manufacturing within any demanding and fast-moving manufacturing, engineering or logistics / distribution environment. You will ideally (but not essential) possess Six Sigma certification. Most importantly we require a track record of driving and leading cultural, long-term sustainable change. You will demonstrate a progressive career, likely to have originated from engineering or manufacturing. You will possess energy, excellent communication and influencing skills and have an engaging hands-on people management style, coupled with genuine passion for change and enrichment of the work place utilising world class improvement techniques. Please note that the salary range is dependant on experience.
