Their German operation is growing and there is significant support and sponsorship from the Main Board and Senior Management to implement a sustainable and long-term Process Improvement programme.

Working in a small and highly motivated ‘Business Service Excellence’ team you will bring experience of lean and BPI to an organisation that is at the beginning of their improvement journey. You will identify and drive a variety of exciting projects and initiatives in close conjunction with core operational and cross-functional teams, using your expertise in Business Process Improvement and Lean to achieve measurable improvements. In addition, you will take over global projects and drive local implementation and act as a mentor to coach and develop staff in the mind-set of continuous improvement, sharing best practice and innovations.
We welcome applications from highly energetic Business Process Improvement / Process Excellence (PEx) and Lean professionals with experience of implementing lean and process improvement projects from any industry sector. You will possess experience of process mapping and implementing standardized work / SOPs. The role will have interaction at all levels of the organisation including C-Level, therefore some experience of senior level stakeholder management along with excellent influencing, coaching and engagement skills is required. There is a need to be both strategic and operational; with a focus on both ‘quick wins’ and delivering sustainable long-term results, therefore you will demonstrate presence, energy, excellent communication skills, possess a ‘hands-on’ style and be appropriate and flexible in utilising your process improvement tools. Six Sigma certification or training would be advantageous, but is not essential.
