  • You will be a degree / HND educated ‘Process Engineer’ with proven project management experience in either water, waste management, chemical, engineering or process manufacturing sector(s).  

This is an exciting, newly created and highly supported career opportunity for a Process Engineer to lead, shape and deliver a series of major projects comprising development and/or improvement in processing technology / performance and infrastructure.  You will be integral in the implementation of the organisation’s Improvement Plan, aimed at adding best value to the operational business through intelligent and integrated asset development and process performance improvement.

Working at sites across the UK (much work in the Midlands / North Midlands / South Yorkshire), you will take overall responsibility for the success of the project, ensuring projects are planned and delivered to achieve at or above plan outcomes and benefits to the organisation are maximised, proactively engaging with stakeholders and external partners.  Where new investment has been made, you will oversee all phases of the individual projects, including feasibility, design and procurement through to site works, commissioning and handover of a new asset into operation.  The Process Engineering Project Manager will take on a broad and challenging role which will have much interaction with team members and one that we hope will be highly satisfying.

You will be a Process Engineer with significant project management experience gained in the water, waste management, chemical, engineering or process manufacturing sector(s).  You will be educated to degree or HND level, demonstrate a progressive career and possess energy, excellent communication & influencing skills and engaging hands-on people skills.  In addition, a recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APMP or similar would be highly desirable, but not essential to the role.

Due to the multisite responsibilities there is a need for flexibility and a willingness to travel across the UK.    

Please note that the salary advertised is dependent on experience. The package includes a company car or car allowance, a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.
