North West - North West base / Global remit

An exceptional opportunity for a TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) professional has arisen to join a rapidly growing specialist Consultancy. They offer a challenging career and highly rewarding career within a supportive team environment and excellent long-term prospects.

You may have never considered consultancy before, but maybe NOW really is the time?......

Our client; an Operational Excellence consultancy practice have founded an excellent reputation through their blue chip manufacturing base by the successful delivery of audits / assessments and  implementing CI, TPM and lean training to achieve sustainable results.

Following a significant number of contract wins with blue chip manufacturing clients they require a new Consultant to join their small, but rapidly growing team. This appointment will appeal greatly to an individual seeking a growth role with significant variety and a global remit. Contracts are mainly located across Europe and globally, therefore we require candidates who are attracted to working overseas and experiencing diverse cultures and who have the flexibility to work away from home Monday to Friday. The organisation’s head office is in North West England and therefore it is also a requirement for candidates to be based within a reasonable commuting distance for regular office meetings, although home working (whilst between contracts) is an option.

Previous management consulting experience is not required. It is essential that candidates have a proven track record in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) having been integral to a corporate TPM programme and applied TPM foundations for 5S (workplace optimisation and the application of using visual management). You will have extensively applied TPM tools in the core pillars of Autonomous Maintenance, Professional Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Early Equipment Management and Training & Education.

You will have experience of implementing lean and will have worked within ANY manufacturing industry. Experience within an FMCG environment would be desirable, but certainly not essential. You will be self-motivated and possess excellent communication and influencing skills.
