As the market leader in their sector, our client’s Shared Service Centre in Poland requires a Senior Project Manager to drive the implementation of a continuous improvement mind set, founded on Lean Six Sigma.

The job holder will work closely with the functional / regional stake-holders and deliver measurable, year-on-year productivity improvements. Reporting to a Senior Director the job holder will:

  • Build project plans, with clear scope, timelines, resource profiles, business cases and risks assessment
  • Secure approval and commitment to run the projects
  • Enable project teams to deliver by setting clear direction, communicate strong plans with clear division of roles and responsibilities within the project
  • Secure timely planning of resources, following the guidelines from the Service Centre PMO
  • Report on project progress, risk and issues to the PMO, according to provided templates
  • Day-to-day management of your own project teams and support to other projects in the portfolio
  • Develop their continuous improvement toolbox, leveraging best practice

To be considered it is essential that candidates demonstrate experience of driving continuous improvement / lean six sigma initiatives and possess Six Sigma Black Belt / Master Black Belt certification. Business level competency in English is essential, Polish language competence is not required. Candidates will possess excellent MS Office skills and broad Project Management experience and ideally have industry experience in Finance / Accountancy or SSC (Shared Service Centre) / BPO (Business Process Outsourcing).

The successful candidate will be a down-to-earth communicator with a high level of energy, good sense of humour and the ability to stay focused and achieve results when working under pressure. The role will require experience in leading and motivating others, capability of building positive relationships and to be successful in this role you should have a global mind set and the ability to deliver in different cultural environments.
